The one-piece body, meticulously milled from 303 stainless steel, incorporates a new dual-milled solid face and a lightweight aluminium sole plate for optimal craftsmanship. The addition of new milled topline sight dots in translucent smoke enhances alignment, while custom stainless steel sole weights provide balance, higher MOI, stability, and forgiveness. Through a careful distribution of weight and a perfect blend of materials, this putter offers the stability of a mallet with the precise feel of a blade.
The new Phantom mallet utilizes a design approach that combines complementary materials to achieve optimal performance at a desired length and weight. This is achieved by integrating precisely milled 303 stainless steel with lightweight 6061 aircraft aluminum, along with advanced vibration damping technology.
The compact neck of the jet curves slightly and features a smooth shaft-over design that allows for an unobstructed view of the ball at address. Additionally, the 3/4 offset in the shaft promotes a slight toe flow, making for a comfortable and efficient setup.
Each model in the Phantom line includes a specialized Full Contact paddle-style grip for optimal handling. This custom-designed grip is tapered and uniquely shaped to provide a comfortable and reliable hold, with a "chain link" texture similar to the Tour-preferred "Baby T". Its larger flat surface also helps improve face angle awareness, making it easier to square up to the ball at address, even in varying weather conditions.
